If you are landing in Naples at Capodichino airport, the easiest and most comfortable way to reach Sorrento is the Autolinee Curreri Service bus line stopping just outside the arrival hall. The rates of bus service are about 6 Euro, with numerous daily runs, around every 2 hours, takes passengers to Sorrento.
By taxi
The Taxi service is very expensive. Ask the driver to drop you off in Sorrento.
By car
Any direction you are coming from, follow the A3 Napoli- Salerno motorway.
Look for the sign Salerno/Reggio Calabria - Penisola Sorrentina as far as
Castellamare di Stabia exit. After that, drive along the SS145 to Sorrento.
Drive past the towns Vico Equense and Seiano, Meta di Sorrento, Piano di Sorrento, S.Agnello, as far as Sorrento.
By train
An hour rail journey from the Circumvesuviana station "Napoli Centrale" or
"piazza Garibaldi". Catch the train you find on the lower floor, check for the line
"Napoli-Sorrento".Get off in Sorrento (last stop).
By ship
From the port of Naples you can take the hydrofoil from the wharf (molo Beverello) which takes around 35 minutes to reach Sorrento.
Minibuses leave from the harbor of Sorrento every 30 minutes for the center.
